They posted a new “heatwave policy” on the break room corkboard and took the water cooler away the same day. When I asked HR where the shade breaks went, my manager forwarded my email with one line: “Handle your attitude.”

HR slid a new arbitration agreement across the table and told me it covered “everything, including the past.” I asked why it was dated three months ago, and the room went quiet.

The wellness program promised my genetic screening results would stay with the vendor. Two weeks later, my manager started asking if I was "still healthy enough for the role."

HR told me my “90-day improvement plan” was routine and confidential. Two hours later, my manager’s girlfriend referenced it in a team chat like she’d drafted it herself.

I posted a simple question about raises in the company chat. By lunch, my badge didn’t open the door and HR said I’d violated “confidentiality.”

The clip hit my phone at 9:12 a.m., while my security badge still worked and my calendar still said "Team Sync." By lunch, half the floor had seen it, and HR told me to "stop escalating."

I asked HR for a religious vaccine exemption and got a calendar invite called "Compliance Follow-Up" thirty minutes later. By Friday my badge didn’t work and my manager wouldn’t look at me in the hallway.
